Parents, in coordination with the educational councils, school administrations and the Ministry of Education, sought the assistance of organizations working in the field of child care to teach them and their children the means of protecting their children in schools and at home. The Voluntary Reyada Center for Capacity Building, Studies and Consultations, in cooperation with the International Child Care Organization, and the Ministry of Education, took the lead to play a prominent role in contributing to raising awareness to ensure protection for children in schools. Reyada center designed an integrated program to protect children in schools called “a series of awareness programs in protecting children in schools.” Which is an integrated program that aims at establishing the concept of rights in children , their peers and the community and acquainting them with the means of protection from the different types of violence phenomena whether in the school environment or the neighborhood, which is part of Reyada voluntary center’s methodology in consolidating rights and strengthening the means to protect children in schools from the manifestations of physical, sexual and verbal violence. It contained the following: “awareness lectures, theater, cultural activities and a variety of lyrical paragraphs Jokes, poems, useful information Competitions and prize distribution for male and female students” with the aim of multiple means of delivering the implicit message.
